The Hold-Guard is strong metal with a non-toxic powder coating. It hangs inside the pet's cage, protecting the water bottle and cap from chewing and gnawing. The adjustable hanger strap works with various aquarium-type pet habitats (it hangs over the top edge) or wire cages (the strap slides through the wire side). Using this product is easy. First, attach the Hold - Guard to the water bottle. Then, decide whether your pet's home is an aquarium - type habitat or a wire cage. For an aquarium - type, simply hang the hanger strap over the upper edge. For a wire cage, slide the hanger strap through the wire side. Make sure the bottle is in a place where your small pet can easily reach it. When it comes to maintenance, clean the water bottle regularly to keep the water fresh and clean.
