Description

The Lee's Kricket Keeper is a complete cricket care kit. All you need to do is add crickets! It can serve as both a cricket carrier and a comfortable habitat. You can house up to 30 medium crickets for a week or even longer. The dark - textured cylinders in this keeper are a haven for crickets, as crickets naturally love dark places. These cylinders are removable, which makes it incredibly easy to feed reptiles, amphibians, or birds. The technologically advanced lid has a viewing and feeding window on the top. It also comes with two dark tubes featuring clear caps and flappers. When you remove the cylinders, the flappers cover the opening to prevent crickets from escaping. There's also a convenient carry handle. Protein, vitamins, and minerals are essential for many reptiles, amphibians, and birds. Crickets are one of the most accessible food sources for these pets. In the past, keeping crickets alive for a long time was a challenge. But with the Lee's Kricket Keeper, hobbyists can now maintain up to 30 medium crickets for a week or more. To feed your pets, simply slide a cylinder out of the keeper, drop the flapper down to stop crickets from getting out. If necessary, cover the cylinder opening with your hand while moving it to the animal you're feeding. Then remove your hand and gently tap the cylinder to release the right number of crickets. Cover the opening and put the cylinder back in the keeper. Remember to remove one cylinder at a time to avoid cricket escapes. For cricket care, keep them in a well - ventilated area with a temperature between 70 - 75 degrees and low humidity. Keep the keeper away from direct sunlight and cold drafts. The keeper should be clean and dry at all times. Provide premium cricket food and water gel in the shallow dishes provided. If water gel isn't available, you can use a sponge. Never fill the bowl with water as crickets might drown. Since crickets produce a lot of waste, clean the unit after each use. Remove dead crickets, shed skin, or waste and clean the whole unit with hot tap water. Avoid using soap or detergents as they may leave a residue that can harm or kill the crickets.

Using the Lee's Kricket Keeper is easy. First, add crickets to the keeper. It can be used as a carrier when you need to move the crickets around. When it's time to feed your reptiles, amphibians, or birds, slide out one of the dark cylinders. Drop the flapper down to prevent crickets from escaping while you're moving it. If you're worried about crickets getting out, cover the opening with your hand. Once you're at the pet's enclosure, remove your hand and gently tap the cylinder to let the right number of crickets out. After feeding, put the cylinder back in the keeper. Here are some important things to note. Keep the keeper in a well - ventilated area at 70 - 75 degrees with low humidity. Avoid direct sunlight and cold drafts. Always provide premium cricket food and water gel in the shallow dishes. If you don't have water gel, a sponge will do, but don't fill the bowl with water. To keep the keeper in good condition, clean it after each use. Remove dead crickets, shed skin, and waste, then clean it with hot tap water. Don't use soap or detergents as they can be harmful to the crickets.
